TopoIberia-IberArray Instrument Pool for Earth Observation
The research institutions participating in the TOPOIBERIA research project have created an Instrument Pool for the observation of the Earth. All the instrumentation of this pool is currently operating within the TOPOIBERIA acquisition effort ( IBERARRAY ). This instrument pool consists in:
- 40 Broad Band seismic stations composed by digitizer
and a sensor. The sensor is a 120 s. TRILLIUM
from
Nanometrics and the digitizer is a
TAURUS recorder .
They are equiped with bateries and solar pannels.
- 28 GPS stations. They include Trimble antena and acquisition system, power system (bateries and solar pannels.
- 5 Broad band Magnetotelluric sounding instruments: The unit id the ADU-07 (200kHz-4000s) build by Metronix
- 10 Long Period Magnetotelluric sounding instruments: The units are the Lemi-417 (10s-1000.000 s) designed and build by the Lviv Center of Institute of Space Research
