The Group of Dynamics of the Lithosphere, based at the Institute of
Earth Science "Jaume Almera" (CSIC) in Barcelona (Spain), is seeking to
contract a structural geologists to work on the Sierra Madre Oriental in
Mexico.

The successful post-doctoral candidate will implement the existing team
of 4 researchers who will start working in this region in collaboration
with the Norwegian oil company StatoilHydro.

We are looking for a person with field experience on contractional
regimes (tightly folded carbonates), available to travel both to Mexico
(when safety conditions will return)
and Norway.

The successful candidate will be involved in fold and fracture analysis,
construction of cross sections and 3D models.

Good English and the capacity to work in team are essential.
