Room of reading Allows the personal consulting of the funds typical of the library. The library has an area of 1.550 m and has 150 bookmarks, 7 computers, 1 reproducer of video, 8 stereoscopes for the consulting of air pictures, 1 reader of microcards and a photocopying machine in self-service.

Personal loan Allows to obtain documents from the background typical of the library. The user is a person responsible for the document in loan, their custody, conservation and return, for which he will not be able to yield it to any other person.
Documents in loan can only take out the staff from the Institute of Jaume Almera, and that of the University of Barcelona
For this they have to be given of high on the library, filling in the form.

Our library, of titularity shared with the University of Barcelona, uses the regulations of loan of the UB.

Loan interlibrarian. Allows the possibility to access to works (books and articles of magazines) that do not feel physically in the funds of the LIBRARY OF GEOLOGY (CSIC-UB).
The obtaining of documents (are originals or copies) that are not in libraries of the CSIC will entail a series of external expenses, these will always run in charge of the applicant; the following fares will be applied.

Services 2.0: blog (ECO), conectados.0 and Twitter
ECo (Space of Communication) is conceived for to bring information, to carry out comments, to exchange ideas, opinions, experiences, about any subject related with the services that the libraries of the CSIC offer to the users of the institution. None of the usual channels will substitute communication and information that already exist.

conectados.0 is the version for mobile devices of the Library Network’s Web Page of the CSIC. This adaptation allows the indispensable information of the Web Page normal but lighter and fast to access of consulting.
